About Our Classes:

Most of our classes require you to bring basic sewing supplies. These include: thread, scissors, pins, seam ripper, writing paper and pen or pencil. We now provide rotary cutting mats in the classroom. However, you may still need to bring your cutter and rulers. Classes with sewing machine techniques require you to bring your sewing machine in good working condition. It is best if you work on your own sewing machine since you are familiar with it’s operation and you don’t waste class time learning a new machine. If you are unable to bring your own machine, we do have a machine available on a first-come, first-served basis.

You may register for classes in person, by mail with a check or credit card or over the phone with a credit card. We cannot accept e-mail registrations.

Refunds are not given for classes unless the class is cancelled. You may transfer your class fee to another class until seven days prior to the scheduled class. At that time, we make a commitment to our teachers so no transfers will be allowed after that. We feel that this policy is very fair to both students and teachers and therefore will allow NO  EXCEPTIONS. You may send your own substitute or ask if we have anyone on the waiting list.

Occasionally a class is cancelled due to low enrollment. Please make sure the class will be held before purchasing your supplies. During class time, techniques and patterns are given to complete the quilt top. For most classes you should not expect to finish your project during class time. Quilt classes cover making the top only, unless otherwise specified. Our class sizes are kept small so that you may have sufficient time with the instructor to learn the techniques shown. In fairness to others, please do not bring guests or children to class.
